i am looking to organize a long tee scramble at Flat Rocks. I would like to do this on a weekly basis. For now i am just looking to see if there is some interest in this scramble. Cost, time, and day of the week will be announced later. So whats your vote?

I would really like to to see a long tee scramble!!! I just hope the payouts are only going to be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place thing... Paying that 1/3 of field crap is lame....
I also think there should be no ace fund because 90 percent of people cant throw it far enough to ace on the long tees!! CTP's should still be in effect though...

I am all about it! It will tell us what all needs done with the long tees and the layout! And I have always looked to improve on my Hardrocks personal record! "Paying that 1/3 of field crap is lame..." Brock.....it is not lame because wednesday ans sunday doubles are designed to promote disc golf and not focus on lining anyones pockets.....If the payout bothers you that much play some for real money afterwards...
Great Idea Talmadge I will be there for this as for the ace fund hmmmmmmmmmm..... there are a couple that can be aced so will take some thought on how to go about it.....

Yo Hunt, Its not all about the money at all... Its about the fact that every Sunday and Every Wednesday you guys are always sending the 6"em out last and they always end up being the last group coming in.. "Usually almost an hour after everyone else arrives back" The point is that people in last place pay at the time for $2 whole freaking dollars or so have to wait the whole time just to see if they made it in the cash... And if they left and they still cashed you guys always give up there pay! If we had just three places pay then it would be easier for everone no one would ever complain! We allready have enough people showing up to scrambles and tournaments..."we really dont need to promote more" If they show up then they show up. If you would like to take a vote on what people think I would be more then glad to start a patition just to see how many others feel the same as me.. But if my opinion and others i get to sign dont matter then it cool just let me kno.. Its not like im a club member or anything

"we really dont need to promote more" That is what the doubles are all about..... As for the 6im thing....You send out the 6im first....sometimes even with sending them out early they still come in late and there is nothing you can do about it So if it makes you happy....Society is sorry that they want to play too and slow up your perfect day of disc golfing Its doubles and yes it takes time and YES YOU can volunteer your time to run the doubles so they are perfect in every single way
ALL IT TAKES IS A VOLUNTEER TO HELP IT IS NOT THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF 3 OR SO PEOPLE

Ryan, I don't think you understand my opinion?? I know sometimes it takes 6 people longer to golf weather you start them first or last... My whole point is about why we should pay only three places and not 1/3 of the field. Also, I would be glad to TD anytime, but I kno you would just kick me to the side if i tried because if I was TD then I would only pay three places.
The only thing I'm trying to ask is, "if enough people say they want somthing changed will it be changed" Like the pay scale or like when and where the club meetings should be held" I'm not trying to start any drama or confusion. I would just like to know what it takes to see a change!

As far as the 6 em thing goes Brock that was totally my bad this Sunday. I had 30 people and totally forgot about the 6 em untill there were only two cards left. The 6 em goes out first always. this is to allow them extra time because they are the biggest group. I feel that i TD very well but i am only human and i make mistakes. I am working on all the details about this long tee scramble. When i get the details i will post them and announce them at the Sunday scramble. i will be taking votes from the people who pay because its there money and i want them to feel involved as much as possible. stay tuned more information to come.

I voted for Tuesday but I think you should do whatever you want to begin with T. Then after you get your thing down you can take comments or ideas and make your adjustments! As for the ace fund I would like to see one, all the holes are aceable cept maybe 1, 3, 4, and 11! and with a good enough or LUCKY enough throw they could probly be done too. I think the ace fund wont do anything but draw more people in. Dont let Jeff talk you out of it cause he has a little arm! LMAO just fng wit ya Brock, you know your cool wit me!! About the payouts you can adjust accordingly depending on how many people show, if theres only 6 people I wouldnt mind you only paying a 1/3 of the field ;D ;D!!! But like I said b4 just do whatever you want then adjust. Ive only played the longs once (shot a +3) and would love to get a round a week in of them!!

I voted Tuesday also... But with me going to school full time and not working, my days are usually wide open. So it really doesn't matter to me what day the Scramble would be. Talmage, you are wonderful TD.. "I like you" And everyone else that TD's for that matter.. I just really hate the way the payout goes. I understand the payouts are going to stay the same for the regular Sunday and Wednesday scrambles. But u "Talmage" posted for peoples opinions on behalf of the Long Tee sramble; So I gave my opinion... I know im not the boss and from what i've noticed My opinions dont mean poop... But at least I gave some.

Yo Zac, Hole 3 "long tee" is diffently aceable!! Even with my little arm i've parked it twice within the last week... So u think 16 is aceable?? "GOOD LUCK WITH THAT" ;D

Thats funny earlier today I was actually thinking about the longs again and I new I forgot 16. That still leaves what?, 14 left for some lute! Sounds good to me even though I know I wont ever hit an ace for money.

Talmadge...Tuesdays sound good to me. The long tees change the course.
Off topic: I don't see why the payout of the field matters. Everyone has to wait for all the scorecards to come in.

Thanks for stepping up Talmadge. One thing to consider will be the time factor. Not sure how long a round will take with multiple groups playing. Maybe as the days grow shorter you could play the odd # holes long, and the even # short ,then switch 'em up the next week. Maybe an optional cash CTP in lieu of an Ace fund. (although people may have to wait around to see if they win it ) o/t - aac @ "people would never complain" Jeff, I'd like to point out that if the meetings were held at the park on Sundays, you would've missed it a few weeks ago. As would've Mark, who actually takes the time to attend them. What's your contingency plan for crummy weather, or the time change?
