I wish each and everyone a Merry Christmas. The word Christmas means Christ's day. But all too often we make it a me day. Christmas is a great time to look inward and see where you are living. Mankind has a spirit and after death the spirit moves on. Easter celebrates the risen Christ and Christmas celebrates the birth of the Christ. A virgin birth; a miracle. If a "savior of men" is to be born, and if this savior of men needs to die to redeem men, then this savior must be able to pay the sin price for men. The only way this savior would be able to pay the sin debt is if He had no sin debt Himself. That is why Jesus was born of a virgin, so that he was not born with a sin nature and He never sinned Himself. The reason Christianity is different than other religions is because this virgin born savior died and rose from the grave. We have conclusive evidence this happened. His disciples became bold in their proclaiming the resurrection of Jesus; before they were fearful. The New Testament books were written during the lifetime of people who were alive when Jesus died and if the things written in the New Testament books were false they would have spoken up. The Jewish leaders would have brought the dead body of Jesus into public view if they had it but they did not have it because He had risen. Jesus Himself taught His disciples to be truthful, to be men of integrity. For them to lie would be against everything He taught. Jesus was born. He lived a sinless life. He willingly went to the cross to pay the sin debt in our place. He rose to prove He accomplished this. Salvation is dependent upon God's grace and Man's faith. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved. What does your life reflect? I'm not perfect, I'm not flawless, but I am a believer. sidearmdon P.S. Merry Christ Day
