As many of you are aware we are trying to raise capital for the purchase of new baskets at Flat Rocks Disc Golf Course. You will be able to check this thread for fund raising tournaments and other information concerning this issue.
So far we have exceeded any and all expectations I had of raising funds, I am extremely proud of the response from our players helping us to reach our goal to improve our course for all who use it.
We will be keeping a thermometer in the the message board at the course so you can track our progress. We will also be updating the board with tournament announcements and other issues concerning the funds.
Here are the ways we are trying to reach our goal.
Monthly fund raising tournaments. We have a different TD for each month setting his own format and entry fees, running all the way into October.
Selling hole sponsorship signs... $300.00 gets you a 5 year placement on an 8x 12 sign
Weekly raffle at Wednesday night doubles for a chance at big $ money
Selling fund-raising items. I will be coming out with some shirts and other items to sell with all proceeds going in the fund.
Donation bucket. Bucket will be set out at all times, got some change floating around in you pocket, just toss it in there.
