My son and his friend have built two benches for the Flatrocks course. I took a couple pictures and I will post them. I guess the question is "What hole do we want to have them on?" Attachments:

They are made of 4x4's except for a couple bracing pieces. Attachments:

I totally agree with Spud! Nice!! I believe hole #2's bench needs replaced since it's falling apart. But holes 4 & 5 don't even have seats besides logs. Also 17/13's is in bad shape too. What ya thinking?

I was thinking quite the opposite of those. I considered holes 6, 11 and 16. I think 17/13 needs a special bench.

My son and his friend have built two benches for the Flatrocks course. I took a couple pictures and I will post them. I guess the question is "What hole do we want to have them on?" 10 & 11 don't have anything...4 & 5 are just stumps, like 15, but 15's are big. I propose honorary memberships for both this year!

may want to bolt'em to some buried 4x4's, esp. if you do one on 10.

I was considering steel rod attached to the legs to keep the bench in place, if it was necessary. Drive the stakes in and set the bench over top. The benches are fairly heavy as they are all 4x4. A couple screws to secure the stakes to the legs. After everyone sees these, we can modify the design for different holes.
