I havent checked these boards in a long while, I am excited to hear paint creek is in development and would love to find a way to help. Where is the course? Is it signed yet and are all 18 baskets in? Sorry for the basic questions but I want to check it out!

Walked the proposed new holes today with Jeff the park ranger and he gave us a thumbs up. We will start the clearing soon. We will be pouring a few concrete pads for the existing holes soon. We could have a work day April 30th if anyone is interested. Please respond if you could help. The new footage is now at 4823 feet. 1 hole under 200 feet but it is uphill. 10 holes over 200 feet. 5 holes over 300 feet. 2 holes over 400 feet. I would be up for helping/playing that day. Let me know.

I'll be playing Paint Creek tomorrow around 2:00 pm, if anyone is interested in tagging along. This will be my 3rd time out there, and only 2nd this year. Stoked to say the least!

Paint Creek is now 21 holes. After 18 follow the path towards the putt putt for a long shot through the pines. Tee pad is marked. After 19 follow the path for a "short" S type hole. After 20 follow the path where the tee pad is not clearly marked as we need to do a little more clearing. Throw from the front of the orange to the basket on top the hill. You can see it if you look for it. 21 holes. How cool is that. Tee signs are in but not up yet. Marked six more tee pads to be dug out and in two weeks they will have concrete.

I finally played Paint Creek on Friday with Don. As he stated, 21 holes. Don (and everyone involved with the course) has done a wonderful job out there. I would advise playing this course. It is demanding, yet fair. There are birdies and bogies and beyond. I took a "frustration 7" on the shortest hole on the course. Don't ask.
