I was not aware the LDGA had its own rules in effect at the scrambles. According to the imortal Ryan custer jr Hunt They do. In his own words after he missed his putt on 11 for a 2 and brocks fell out, "This is an LDGA ran event and that putt counts" Well where is your rule book or where are your rules posted? Seems pretty convient that you can make the rules up on your own. If the putt counts when it doesnt stay in the basket, then I had an ace on 17 in a scramble that came out the same way. Seeing the ace fund was full at the time I want my $150.00 you cheating SOB. It's bad enough you seat the wrong people and take them out of the money, now you get to make the rules up when it benifits you? LDGA can kiss my a$$, bunch of poser loser MF'ers. I'm calling you out cheater b**ch

PDGA rules: In normal, casual play, then yes you can consider the hole finished and the putt counts. However, in sancionted play, this would not be the case. In sanctioned play, you would have to mark your lie under the basket and hole out.
803.12 Holing Out B. Disc Entrapment Devices: In order to hole out, the thrower must release the disc and it must come to rest supported by the chains or within one of the entrapment sections . This includes a disc wedged into or hanging from the lower entrapment section but excludes a disc resting on top of, or hanging outside of, the upper entrapment section. The disc must also remain within the chains or entrapment sections until removed.
''What this boils down to then is faulty equipment. Nothing we can do about that other than fix it.''

I've been told many of times that if the disc falls out of the hole and anyone else sees it then it counts... I've counted it for many of people so I expect it to count for me. You may not like the rule but its been called out many of times.. As much as you wine about the LDGA then why do u even bother coming to the scrambles in the first place? GROW UP

I kinda hate to post this because you guys are funnier than f*ck, but rules are rules.

I know that suggestions arent welcome here that you have to go to a meeting (LMFAO ;D), but instead of new baskets an extra ring could be welded on to seal the huge gaps. I hate our baskets and would love new ones but this would be a cheaper fix and if whoever doesnt want to spend mine or the other members money for an obviously needed course improvement that could easily be fixed with a little welding will probably be upsetting a lot more people. A little money spent to save a lot of headaches for all of us (including those of us who dont matter)!!

Ouch Ouch......OUCH After some thought I was in the wrong saying that the putt counts.... I WAS WRONG AND I AM SORRY like it matters to only those that do matter...... kidding.... I still dont understand why it is thought to common belief that I do not care and thats all I do?? Anyways my main belief is that if a putt or drive goes in and falls out the inside of the basket and noone sees it and someone that actually chained out can claim that the disc fell through the ''inside'' of the basket. Making this a really stupid dilema... Jeff........Sorry I will pay second place out of my own winnings to give them a total of 1st place cash....
Sorry that I am human and make mistakes and also have a life outside of Disc Golf...(not saying anyone doesnt) but hell I thought thats the way we talked about it previously....SO from now forth if a shot, putt, approach, drive, stradle-jump putt, hyzer, anhyzer, forehand,,tom ahawk,grenade,roller,off-handed,over the top, under the bottom, thorugh the mando, and a black ace DOES NOT COUNT unless: The disc is within the chains or entrapment sections until removed.
My apoligies that the course doesnt have high dollar baskets.
On another note I am sorry also that people believe that all decsions that matter are decided at meetings and complain about it and dont show up to voice their opinion. I know I know and have heard the excuse a thousand times..........TIMES ARE CHANGING
-----The End (of this post)
Ohhhhh Forgot hopefully fixing the baskets will be done. Before we had some wire put up by ''someone'' that got ripped off of all baskets. I think that Faulty baskets should simply be repaired. (time money time money time money)
Sorry this message will self destuct )
