Treasury Report: John Hobbs not present. Ryan Hunt reported $158 was made from the doubles. CTP is currently at $256.
Renewals: No renewals to report.
¡ Frenzy at Flatrocks Tournament: The Frenzy at Flatrocks Tournament will take place August 29th. John Hobbs has volunteered to T.D. the event, and will begin pre-registration in June.
¡ LDGA Long Tee Tournament: Detroit will be hosting this event on May 23rd. He has been looking into new sponsors for this event, and Billy Crickets already gave us 12 $10 gift cards. We discussed tee-shirt and trophy production and costs, and who would pay for those. Detroit volunteered to pay for these out of pocket, but requested that the LDGA pick up the cost, and therefore the club would receive reimbursement from the registration fees. Detroit is waiting for the next meeting to make sure the payout is scripted so that no mistakes are made.
¡ Lyle requested resignation from the club board at the last meeting.
¡ Worlds Biggest Disc Golf Weekend: This is an event we will participate in next year, but will begin planning now.
¡ Hunt would like to get a sign for the course, and possibly place one at the bottom of the hill.
¡ Hunt is still looking for volunteers for the Alley Park Adventure Club demo Tues. night. So far Josh, Chuck, Keith, and Mark have volunteered. He also needs discs for the demo. Josh will bring extra discs for the kids to play with. Hunt plans on setting up shorter runs rather than have the kids play from the regular tees.
¡ Tee Pads Cost: Rubber tee pads: $33.00 per piece; Truckload of Gravel: $16 per two tee pads; 30 spikes for $12, with 8 per tee pad; Detroit is looking into getting someone to sponsor gravel for us. We now have approval from the Lancaster Parks and Recreation director Mike Oberton the continue placing the rubber tee pads on the course.
¡ Detroit announced Lancaster Parks and Recreation will begin selling discs at their office.
¡ Hunt is looking into free printed media from VistaPrint.
¡ Lidya Biter will deposit $144.50 into Chase.
¡ Eric Winegardnerfs bag tag needs to be changed; wrong name. Matt Young can be contacted about this. Lidya Biter will take care of this.
New Business:
¡ Payouts and thank-youfs have not been sent out from the Frosted Flatrocks tournament.
¡ Lancaster Parks and Recreation 100th Year Anniversary: Hunt will be contacting Lancaster Parks and Recreation about being involved in this event that will be held July 3rd. We discussed ideas for this, including games, flyers explaining the sport, and possibly a booth containing merchandise. Hunt volunteered to spearhead this, and Mark Boden volunteered to assist him. More to come later.
¡ Friday June 12th: Fairfield Union Demo: Hunt will look into volunteers for this event. We may look into holding this on a different day. We will also need to discuss costs per kid, possibly $2-$3 each. Chuck Custer will supply discs.
¡ Hunt will be contacting Hobbs about payout information from Frosted Flatrocks.
¡ Tee Pad Update: The tee pads are finished. We may possibly need some block or two by fours in the front of each pad to keep fall outs from happening. The tee pads are PDGA approved and must be used during all the scrables and tournaments. This will be added to the PDGA rules posted on the bulletin board. The LDGA would like to give a big thanks to all those who volunteered their time to work on this project.
¡ Brian Morabito volunteered to make 5 three ring binders for those who td the scrambles. The club approved this.
¡ Random Board Member Resignation: Keith Azbell resigned this evening at 7:57.
¡ Ken McCray brought up the idea of possibly doing a three-month membership drive, where once a month professionals come in, give a demo/clinic, and we do the membership drive during this.
¡ Detroit volunteered a nomination for vice-president. All those in attendance voted on this, and it was unanimous that he takes that position.
¡ Chuck needs reimbursed for the tee pads; the cost totals $955.00. He has all the receipts.
¡ Detroit moved that we begin looking for someone to take over membership. Wefll talk to Kenny and Brian about this, and if they arenft interested, we will make an announcement.
¡ Epic Longs at Flatrocks: We discussed what had been done, and what still needed to be done before the tournament.
¡ We would like to begin having a list of announcements for the Wednesday and Sunday Scrambles.
