The "shouting" comment pertained to some things going on Wednesday night.
The ace fund has not always been $150.
We were specifically told that because this is a club function, club officers were the only ones to run the show.
I hope you get well soon Mark!!!

If one thing comes out of this discussion, it should be this. More people need to step up and run an event. It should be like jury duty, not optional.
Even if you aren't helping the TD, try a couple things to help out when you sign in.
First of all try to bring small bills, ones preferably. One person at a time handing money to the TD SAY YOUR NAME. The TD may say, "I know your name." That is okay, just say it anyway. The TD is harried and may not even be looking up. Say if you want to put money in the CTP fund. (closest to the pin)
If someone else would like to help, try hanging around the TD table and watch the process of getting doubles ready. See the TD taking flak from the 40 different voices that are trying to hand you money, and expecting you to remember 40 names. If you see a TD struggling alone, step up. Ask the TD how you can help. Having two people at the table can be a help in showing a new TD how to run the event.
One of the reasons that Flatrocks is successful is that someone always steps up to run it. Someone is always there, no matter the weather, no matter what, it is guaranteed to be happening. That is the essential ingredient. No one ever shows up and the event isn't happening.
Try being a TD, if for no other reason than you can appreciate the difficult job it is.
One more thing. When you get done, and you are picking up your disc golf bag to head home, hail the TD. Call him/her out and say, "Ryan (or insert any TD name), thank you running doubles tonight. I had fun." The TD earned that thanks.
