I thought it might be good to start a new thread, so here it is! Tony Mason, Dan Leeth and I cleaned up by hole two today. Much easier to get your disc if you go short. Looking for volunteers to help April 30th. Most of the work will be getting down logs out of the woods. If we can get enough help and the weather cooperates we can put in some concrete pads and some of the new baskets. I can do April 30th or May 14th. Which date is better?

After talking with the Park people it looks like the work day will be May 21st. We ordered the extra baskets today to have a 21 hole course. We can do that if we get enough help. Also ordered extra sleeves to have alternate pin placements.

Nice, I'll try and convince my wife to go camping that weekend. "Oh gee look honey, they're working on the DG course, I think I'll go help for a while "

We appreciate all who are planning to help at the Paint Creek course work day May 21st. I have invited four different people who work in concrete and I think three of them might show up. We might rent a bobcat. I have had maybe half a dozen people tell me they are planning on being there.

August 30th 2011. Today we formed nine tee pads. Hopefully we will pour concrete sometime next week. We could really really use some help when we pour. Also looked at some spots to put in three more baskets. Moving the old basket of hole six, you can see where the basket will be and a red flag where the front of the pad will be.

humboldthills and I spent about four hours today cleaning the junk out by baskets 11 and 16, cut some dead trees out here and there, cut a little in the fairway at hole 12, cut some stuff on hole 16 and moved that pad back, cut the thorn tree out of the new fairway on hole 7. Last week I cut all the briar out at hole 8.

Thanks for getting me out and about on that rainy day Don! The 2 new pad locations on 7 and 16 really make a big difference, but I think all the little stuff we did yesterday after that is what people will notice.

Jay put up a few "next tee" signs yesterday. It's great to see guys doing stuff. Adam has designed some tee signs I think we will be going with. Course is looking mighty fine.
